This place sucks. Nothing more than a daycare. The gym schedule is never correct. If you are older than 12 years old and actually want to shoot hoops in the gym, don't even bother coming. The staff is all 90 years old and the old men who work there are creeps. I've seen several stare at underage girls while working out. We have been members of 4 different YMCAs in the area, and Louisville Y should not even be considered a place where adults can go to workout. Build a daycare and get rid of the worthless staff!
Lifeguards are great. Especially Dennis, and Cole.
They saved my Dad's life with their quick actions. He collapsed during a workout from cardiac arrest. Within 3 minutes they had shocked him with a defibrillator (getting his heart pumping again) and had the paramedics on the way.
Some of the staff are complete dick holes, but it's got a nice basketball court whenever it's not flooded with people
